Veterans Expeditionary Media is an independent entertainment company that connects with audiences by producing and distributing content across multiple platforms. We create multi-media franchises, each based on a single story, brand, or character and then expand the property across a wide array of distribution platforms, creating a more compelling and immersive ‘story universe’. To see this in action, check out our Projects Page.
In addition, our team provides military technical advisory services, creative development
services, independent distribution consultation, and production support.
Veterans was formed in 2009 by combat decorated Marine Corps Infantry Officers – and
filmmakers – Brian Iglesias and Anton Sattler.
Brian Iglesias
Brian enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1995 and worked his way up to the rank of staff sergeant
before attending film school at Temple University. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a
second lieutenant and attended requisite officer training before meeting his unit in combat. He
deployed twice to Iraq as an infantry platoon commander with 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines. He
then deployed for operations in the Pacific before returning home to develop infantry training
programs that have been implemented Marine Corps-wide. After 13-years of active duty, Brian
joined the reserves, and currently holds the rank of major.
As an independent filmmaker, Brian has over ten years of experience from development
through post-production. He has produced independent feature films, live music events, web
series, commercials, and graphic novels. Brian is currently the President and CEO of Veterans
Expeditionary Media.
Brian is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
Anton Sattler
Anton graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002 with a B.A. in film
studies and English writing. He was also the first student to win both the Montgomery Culver
and Taube Awards for fiction writing. After graduating, Anton immediately joined the Marine
Corps and completed one year of requisite officer training. He then deployed to Al Qa’im, Iraq
as an infantry platoon commander with India Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines. He deployed
a second time to Ramadi, Iraq as the company executive officer. Upon completing his fleet tour,
Anton served as an operations officer on recruiting duty in Baltimore, MD. After 6 years of
active duty service, Anton transferred to the reserves, where he is currently serving as a captain.
With over six years of film experience, Anton has produced feature films, commercials, web
content, and provides military technical advisory services. Anton also writes the majority of
Veterans, Inc. projects. Anton is the Vice President and COO of Veterans Expeditionary Media.
